Brand New Mazes and Events at Halloween Haunt!

MASON, Ohio – Experience evil incarnate for yourself, with new mazes and vile creatures, plus some of the most hair-raising rides on the planet at the region’s premier Halloween event, Halloween Haunt at Kings Island.

Halloween Haunt, Driven by SafeAuto, will start September 19 and run every Friday and Saturday night through November 1.

A veritable playground of terror, Halloween Haunt features more than 600 monsters, 11 mesmerizing mazes, four spine-chilling scare zones, and 20 rides including the Banshee, The Beast and Diamondback roller coasters.

Two new haunted attractions and new live stage show have been added for this year’s Halloween Haunt: Kill Mart, Slaughter House and Skeleton Crew.

Kill Mart will be the park’s largest ever haunted maze at more than 5000 square feet and will be housed inside an existing building in Coney Maul near the Vortex roller coaster. The attraction is themed as a department store that has everything you need with killer deals in every aisle.

Slaughter House will be housed inside a newly constructed building in Rivertown near The Beast. The attraction is a real meat-lovers delight. You never know who – or what – is on the chopping block.

Skeleton Crew debuts in the Showplace Theatre on Cemetery Drive. Prepare to be mesmerized by the acrobatic performances in this eerily entertaining show, featuring an incredible showcase of strength, balance and athleticism.

Popular returning haunted mazes include: Board to Death, CarnEvil, Club Blood, Cornstalkers, Delta Delta Die, Madame Fatale’s Cavern of Terror, Tombstone Terror-Tory, Urgent Scare and Wolf Pack.

Blood Drums, a percussive blood bath of rhythm and music, returns for its third season. Ghouls Gone Wild, featuring Frankenstein and his bride, the Mummy, the Werewolf and others, returns to the stage following a four-year sabbatical.

Park visitors looking to make the most of their night can add Fright Lane with Skeleton Key for as low as $40, which gets them front of the line access to all 11 mazes and access to additional rooms in Delta Delta Die, Kill Mart, Madame Fatale’s Cavern of Terror and Slaughter House.

Friday nights feature the “Wall of Monsters” when gates to the underworld open at 6:00 p.m. Only the bravest souls will make it past the vast array of vampires, werewolves, mummies, zombies, undertakers, clowns and assorted ghouls and monsters they’ll encounter as they enter the park.

On Saturdays, Kings Island opens at 11:00 a.m. with the transformation into Halloween Haunt beginning at 5:00 p.m. except September 20, when the park opens to the public at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets for Halloween Haunt are as low as $29.99 when purchased in advance online at ww.visitkingsisland.com.
